Get inside the EU and discover how Europe works. On this program, you will work with international leaders and top organizations as you explore the foundations and future of Europe. The six-week internship program places students in positions that focus on European affairs. The program consists of two parts worth 3 credits each: an internship experience and an optional independent study that follows a set syllabus created by the program director or one of the student’s own design.  Students enjoy site visits to historical and cultural sites in and around Brussels, including the city center, Bruges, the World War I battlefields of Ieper, and Ghent. Graduate students in all majors and disciplines from any U.S. university may apply. All applicants must demonstrate academic achievement, an interest in European affairs, and the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.  Students are responsible for making their own flight arrangements to/from Brussels and will meet program staff in Brussels. Students will be matched with semi-homestays for the duration of the internships.
