The American University Sailing Club was founded in 2005. The club is open to all students, but dinghy racing experience is strongly encouraged. The biggest goal is to compete successfully in regional MAISA ICSA events. The team trains with the Georgetown University Sailing team four days a week on their FJs and 420s. Georgetown is one of the best teams in the country, so they are great training partners.      Prospective students interested in knowing more about plans for next year should contact Aaron Zankel at sailingclubau@hotmail.com.  Both returning members and current students who want to join the team should contact Aaron Zankel at sailingclubau@hotmail.com.  For more information on AU’s Sailing Team, please visit the web site at, http://www.ausailing.org/index.html.
