The School of Public Affairs is ranked as one of the top ten schools of public affairs in the U.S. today.  Their full-time faculty are nationally and internationally recognized scholars. They’ve written hundreds of books and articles, appeared on national television, testified before Congress, and, in many cases, have worked in government themselves.  Students in SPA have the opportunity to participate in hundreds of internship opportunities using D.C. as an extended campus, including the White House, the U.S. Congress, and the Department of Homeland Security. Non-governmental opportunities include Habitat for Humanity and Amnesty International.
