The American University Women's Volleyball Club, founded in the fall of 2007, is a student-run organization focused on developing volleyball skills and competing in organized games. The team welcomes players of all abilities; members range from beginners to high school varsity and club athletes. Because the club is in its opening year, the team is not currently established in a collegiate conference, but plans to compete in local and national tournaments this season. As a club, the team works to maximize individuals' athletic abilities, teach the fundamentals of volleyball, and compete against other collegiate clubs in the area. Whether you played in high school and you are looking to get back into the game, or you are simply interested in learning how to play, come and join the Women’s Volleyball Team.
