This panel discussion is organized by the ASEAN Studies Center in conjunction with the Asian Development Bank. The Asian Development Bank estimates that over the next decade the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries will need investment of approximately $60 billion annually to fulfill the region's infrastructure needs. Douglas Brooks, ADB Assistant Chief Economist, will discuss how improving ASEAN connectivity through infrastructure can unleash the growth and enhance progress toward the development goals of the ASEAN Economic Community.
