Interested in a career in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics? If so, attend the Black Engineer of the Year Awards (BEYA) STEM Career Fair, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9.
More than 100 of the nation's leading corporations - including Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, General Motors, and Boeing - will be interviewing and hiring at the annual fair. Potential candidates for internships and job openings in STEM-related fields are encouraged to attend and come prepared with a resume and questions for employers.
Every year, the goal of the BEYA STEM Career Fair is to help employers increase the percentage of underrepresented employees in the technology workforce. The Career Fair is part of the annual BEYA STEM Conference, which is hosted by Lockheed Martin Corporation, The Council of Engineering Deans at Historically Black Colleges and Universities, US Black Engineer & Information Technology magazine, and sponsored by Aerotek, a leading staffing agency that matches qualified candidates with top companies worldwide.
