The U.S. Department of State's Critical Language Scholarship funds intensive summer language programs in such languages as Chinese, Arabic, Korean, Russian and Japanese. Scholarships fund students to participate in beginning, intermediate and/or advanced level language programs. Students in all academic disciplines are encouraged to apply.

The Killam Fellowship provides an opportunity for undergraduate students to spend one semester at a university in Canada and has a value of $5,000. AU nomination required.
