6.1    Domestic Hardware Production

Luxembourg's primary focus is on the provision of financial services.  As such, significant computer hardware manufacturing operations do not exist.  A number of additional factors probably contribute to this:
 

• limited available workforce to support the operations
• high cost of living
• small domestic market
• high capital investment costs
