There is no software development in Guinea.  The country lacks both the technical know-how and the financial resources required.  However, there is potential for growth.  For instance, foreign software developers might want to take advantage of the extremely cheap labor and set up operations in Guinea.  The cost of training the local staff will definably be much minimal compared to the cost savings that company will enjoy by utilizing cheaper labor. It would be a win-win situation for both the country and the foreign company. Telecom Malaysia has certainly proved that it is indeed possible.
