includes conditions of acceptance, it is your responsibility to meet those conditions according to the specified schedule.
An admitted student may request to defer his/her enrollment for up to one academic year. For example, if you are admitted for Fall 2014, you may defer your admission to Spring 2015, Summer 2015, or Fall 2015. To request a deferral, please email Kathy Clowery at email@example.com with the following information:
Program to which you are admitted
Reason for requesting deferral
Semester to which you would like to defer (up to one year)
Your deferral must be approved by your academic unit's graduate advising faculty or staff member. You will receive an email with a final decision.
If you decide not to enroll at AU, let us know via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include your reasons for choosing another institution.
