The university is also easily accessible by metro, via the Tenleytown stop on the Red Line (toward upper left on metro map, just inside the DC border)—just outside the metro east entrance there is an American University shuttle bus stop: from the east exit's escalator or elevator, simply walk 100 feet downhill. The AU shuttle runs every 10-15 minutes. Ask the driver for the Katzen Arts Center stop.
Parking is available under the Katzen Arts Center. Parking is metered from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and is free on weekends and after 5 p.m. on weekdays.
