Two masterworks of the Baroque—Antonio Vivaldi's brilliant settings of the Gloria and George Frideric Handel's fiery setting of the Psalm 110—reintroduce the AU Chamber Orchestra after a hiatus of several years. Both are glorious examples of dazzling writing for small orchestra and voices. This program also serves as a preview of the music the AU Chamber Singers have been invited to perform with orchestras while on tour in Russia this May.
