2017 Symposium on Behavioral Neuroscience Sex Differences: From Neuroscience to the Clinic & Beyond

The Center for Behavioral Neuroscience at American University hosted the symposium "Sex Differences: From Neuroscience to the Clinic and Beyond" April 20-21, 2017. Our list of speakers included many of the most respected experts on sex differences in the world, including center members Dr. Colin Saldanha (symposium organizer) and Dr. Anthony Riley, and a special contribution from Dr. Rae Silver (Columbia University). The topics covered were Science and Policy; Origins of Sex Differences; Stress, Trauma, and Disease; Energy and Body Weight Regulation; and Learning, Memory, and Addiction.
