The BS in Audio Technology, the BA in Audio production,
and a minor in Audio Technology are offered. The BS
in Audio Technology Program prepares students for careers
in the audio, entertainment, acoustics, computer, and
electronics fields, while the BA in Audio Production
concentrates on audio and music production within the
broader context of a liberal arts education. These programs
concentrate on the art and science of audio and music
technology, including sound synthesis and electronic
music production, multitrack studio recording, analog
and digital electronics, physics/acoustics, and digital
audio workstations. Students gain real-world experience
by interning at a professional recording studio, radio
or television station, theater, or other such facility.
