Dr. Fox has recently been awarded a 3-year project from the National Institute of Standards and Technology to work on the modification of cellulose for improved dispersion in and flame resistance of polymers. CHEM360/CHEM660 Topics in Environmental Chemistry is expected to be offered in the Spring 2009-2010 semester. The course will investigate the major environmental cycles, focusing on the current sources, demands, and effects of energy production in the world.
