Student Profiles

Matt Klaus

Matt Klaus (BS computer science and BA music performance ’06) studied abroad in London, England, during fall of his junior year.  During his senior year, he had an internship at the Bethesda, Maryland-based Meltzer Group as an IT analyst.  After graduating, he joined Genworth Financial in Richmond, Virginia, where he first worked as a member of the Information Technology Leadership Development Program and is currently starting his career as a network security  analyst.

 

Corey Roe

Corey Roe (BS computer science ’05) transferred to American University in his sophomore year.   After graduation, he worked for two years as a web developer.  Currently, he attends Rutgers School of Law, where he is focusing on intellectual property, patent, and commercial litigation involving computer technology.  

 

Alex Ivanov

Alex Ivanov (BS computer science, BS applied mathematics  ’08) was an international student from Bulgaria.  In summer 2007, he participated in the Datatel summer internship program in Fairfax, Va.  After graduation, he took a job with the company as a software developer.  His future plans include pursuing his PhD in computer science.

Derek Means (BS computer science, BA justice ’05) studied abroad in South Africa.  He is working for Coastline Community College in Orange County, California, where he develops educational video games that promote multilingual learning.
