Admission to Program
Open to students with a bacherlor's degree from an accredited institution.

Requirements

  • 15 credit hours of approved graduate work.

Course Requirements
  • ECON-603 Introduction to Economic Theory (3)
  • ECON-505 Quantitative Analysis of Economic Models OR SIS 600 Quantitative Analysis in International Affairs
  • ECON-670 Survery of International Economics OR SIS 615 Fundamental of US Foreign Economic Policy (3)

6 credit hours from the following:
  • ECON-661 Economic Development Policy (3)
  • SIS-519 Special Studies in International Politics: Monetary Union in Europe (3)
  • SIS-565 US Economic Relations with Japan and China (3)
  • SIS-665 International Trade and Investment Relations (3)
  • SIS-666 International Monetary and Financial Relations (3)

Other approved electives may be substituted with departmental approval.
