This program enables students to complete the B.A. and M.A. degrees
in economics in five years.
Students will be admitted formally to M.A. status only after they
have completed all requirements for the B.A. in economics with
a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 overall and in
their economics courses. Students should apply for the combined
degree in their junior year. Students in this program are not
required to take the Graduate Record Examination.

Students may apply 6 credit hours of approved course work in economics
to satisfy the requirements for both degrees.
