Summer Graduate Fellowships at the
Info-Metrics Institute

The Info-Metrics Institute will provide a number of graduate fellowships on a competitive basis. The competition is open to all PhD students (with preference to more advanced students). 

Summer 2014 Fellowship

The fellow/s will receive a monetary award for a two months fellowship, starting June 1, 2014.

The fellowship is a one time award, provided by the Info-Metrics Institute for the purpose of helping the recipients (PhD students) to concentrate on their dissertation work with the help of their supervisors.

To apply for a fellowship, please send two paragraphs (at most 500 words) that explains your research interest and why you should be granted the fellowship.

Applications are to send via email to the Info-Metrics@american.edu with a CC to Aisha Khan (malik@american.edu) with the Subject line Fellowship Application.

Application deadline: 12PM, Monday April 28, 2014.

Fellowship Recipients in Previous Years

Summer 2013 Fellowship

The fellow/s will receive $2,500.00 for a two months fellowship, starting June 1, 2013.

The recipients for the Summer 2013 Graduate Student Fellowship were: Woubet Kassa and Daniel Kuehn.


Summer 2012 Fellowship

The fellow/s will receive $1,500.00 for a two months fellowship, starting June 1, 2012.

The recipients for the Summer 2012 Graduate Student Fellowship were: Kentaro Murayama and Tual Tuang.

 

Summer 2011 Fellowship

The fellow/s will receive $2,500.00 for a two months fellowship, starting June 1, 2011.

The recipients for the Summer 2011 Graduate Student Fellowship were: Heath Henderson and Skipper Seabold.


Summer 2010 Fellowship

The recipient for the Summer 2010 Graduate Student Fellowship was: Emcet Tas.
