
About the Environmental Studies (ENVS) Program
Our program trains students to become effective advocates for the environment. The curriculum consists of rigorous science- and policy-based courses and experiential learning that prepare our students for exciting careers in the environmental field. The program offers undergraduate (BA/BS) and graduate (MS) degrees and a certificate (CERT) in environmental assessment.

- Casey Roe '09 and Drew Veysey '10 were awarded the Morris K Udall Foundations Scholarships (more...).
- Stephanie Laporte '08 and Amanda Seibel '08 were inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, the oldest undergraduate honors organization in the United States.
- Claire Roby '08 was awarded the 2008 University Student Award for Outstanding Service to the University Community.
- John Adamec, a graduate student in the program, was named as a finalist for the Presidential Management Fellows Program.
