Adjunt Faculty Member, Women's and Gender Studies
- Sara started at AU in February 2007 as the GLBTA RC’s second director. Before coming to AU, she had worked as the Coordinator of Programs at the University of Rhode Island Women’s Center, as a graduate assistant with the Gender Issues Education Services Office and the Program Coordinator for the Women’s and Gender Equity Resource Center at Texas A&M University. She currently serves as a member the NASPA Center for Scholarship, Research, and Professional Development for Women, is the NASPA Region II GLBT Knowledge Community Chair and Education, Outreach and Advocacy Chair for the Consortium of Higher Education LGBT Resource Professionals. Sara is a certified mediator and a member of ACPA, NASPA, the National Women's Studies Association and the National Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Task Force.
