- Dr. Johnson earned his BA in Literature from Rutgers University, his MA in Philosophy from North Central College, and his PhD in Cultural Studies/Rhetoric from George Mason University. His current research interests include: Rhetorical Theory, French Theory, Improvisational Jazz and Composition Pedagogy, Burke Studies, and Vico Studies.
