- Subodh Mathur is an economist (PhD MIT) with strong conceptual and quantitative skills, and wide-ranging international and US operational experience. He taught graduate Econometrics and Economic Development at the American University, Washington, D.C. (1981-1988), and is now an Adjunct Professor there. He has been an independent consultant since 1988. He has worked extensively for the World Bank for two decades in many parts of the world on energy sector and climate change issues. In recent years, he also has had some assignments with various official energy agencies in Washington, D.C
