Michael Moreno

• Michael A. Moreno teaches writing at American University and the University of Maryland University College. He earned an undergraduate degree in English, with minors in media studies and global business, from the University of Houston. He also earned a certificate in intrapreneurship from the Cyvia & Melvyn Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship in Houston. He completed an M.F.A. in creative writing at American University. He writes primarily poetry and fiction. Some of his recent works have appeared in the journals PALABRA, The Tidal Basin Review and The Arkansas Review. He is a native Texan.
