Rika Brent

Adjunct Instructor Department of Performing Arts

Rika Brent is an oboe instructor in the applied music program. She received her BM and MM from The Cleveland Institute of Music. She studied with John Mack, Daniel Stolper, and Richard Killmer. Ms. Brent performed with ensembles including The Cleveland Orchestra, San Diego Chamber Orchestra, Tacoma Symphony and Seattle Music (recording studio), and toured with her woodwind quintet in Japan. She is currently a full time employee at the U.S. Department of State, Foreign Service Institute.
