Molly Springfield received her MFA from the University of California, Berkeley in 2004, and was a participant at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in 2006. Her work has been the subject of solo shows in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, and Washington, group shows in museums and galleries across the United States and Europe, and reviews in Artforum, Art Papers, The Village Voice, The New Yorker, the San Francisco Chronicle, and the Chicago Tribune. In addition to American University, Molly has taught drawing, painting, and studio fundamentals at George Washington University, the Maryland Institute College of Art, George Mason University, and the University of California, Berkeley.
