  • Tom is Professorial Lecturer at American University, teaching courses in Health Promotion Management, Sports Psychology, and Stress Management. He recently completed his doctorate in Behavior, Cognition, and Neuroscience here at American University. His research interests are studying the effectiveness of mindfulness meditation for chronic pain management in combat veterans at the DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He is a registered yoga teacher (RYT-200) and meditation instructor, and enjoys sharing the inherent beauty of these practices with his students.
