CAS Graduate Student Council

From Tara Mancini, CAS GSC president, 2009-2010:

The College of Arts and Sciences Graduate Student Council (CAS GSC) was established to be the unified representative voice of all CAS Graduate Students. In doing so, the CAS GSC seeks to improve the overall academic and social experiences of graduate students, while also facilitating communication among students and administration.

This coming school year I hope to increase the CAS GSC's presence on campus and also graduate student involvement in CAS GSC events. Currently, the CAS GSC is looking to recruit great team members who can contribute towards these goals and much more!

Shuttle Concerns

On October 8, 2009, the CAS GSC president attended a shuttle town hall meeting sponsored by student government. The vehicle maintenance staff is committed to providing the best possible service for all students and therefore welcomes your feedback in order to make improvements. If you have comments or concerns, please contact shuttle@american.edu and CC glc@american.edu so that the Graduate Leadership Council may also track and respond to graduate concerns.
