Kathy Franz wrote a review appearing in the American Quarterly.

Mary Francis Giandrea published her book, Episcopal Culture in Late Anglo Saxon England..

Alan Kraut and Debbie Kraut's new book, Covenant of Care: Newark Beth Israel and the Jewish Hospital in America was released by Rutgers University Press. Gerald N. Grob describes it as "a wonderful case study of a hospital founded by a religious denomination and how it changed over time.  The Krauts have done an excellent job of placing this institution within a national context."  Jonathan Sarna writes that it a "skillfully written volume....a welcome contribution to medical history and Jewish history...a timely and illuminating study of how hospitals change."      

Peter Kuznick gave a talk entitled: "Not Just for Entertainment: Using Hollywood Films in the Teaching of History" and another talk in the last week of February at Union College entitled: "The Atomic Bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki Reconsidered: Challenging the Official Interpretation" (Cosponsored by the Departments of History, Political Science, American Studies, Women's Studies, and Asia Studies.) Peter was quoted in the Bloomberg News story on March 1st about the life and death of Arthur Schlesinger, Jr.

Andrew Lewis had an article in the William and Mary Quarterly that was referenced in Reviews in American History.

Wayne Millan gave a talk at Johns Hopkins University’s Seminars in the History of Science entitled: "Harry Fielding Reid and the Invention of Geophysics."
