The Language and Foreign Studies Department offers two courses in Turkish designed to give the student the tools and skills for basic communication. Both courses are elementary level and make use of a variety of authentic and culture-based materials. Students will acquire command of conversational Turkish through speaking and listening practice in class and reading and writing practice through the various assignments. At present only elementary level courses are being offered.
