Minor in Mathematics
A mathematics minor offers students a way to complement and enhance their major, while receiving valuable mathematics training. Students take 19 credit hours of coursework including algebra, calculus, and applied calculus classes. The mathematics minor allows students to select three elective courses to tailor the coursework to their interests. Completing a minor makes an undergraduate degree more appealing to potential employers and further prepares students for graduate school. The minor requires 19 credit hours with grades of C or better and at least 12 credit hours unique to the minor.
