Financial Aid & Scholarships

Many incoming students qualify for merit awards, typically as Graduate Assistants working with the department and receiving partial tuition remission and a stipend. The department also offers a limited number of Research Assistantships supported by externally and internally funded faculty research projects. Students may also be eligible for the department's Jones and Sandler scholarships. Returning students are eligible for these same awards.

Additional tuition or funding benefits are available for AU Staff (and family members) and US Veterans.
