Student Fulbright Scholars Named
This week, Michelle Dromgold, BA German/Europe area studies & international studies ’10, received a Fulbright research grant to spend a year in Germany. While there, the senior double major will compare the implementation of legislation on Islamic religious education in public schools in Berlin and North Rhine-Westphalia.
Kogod student Dana Huff also received a Fulbright grant to study the impact of social entrepreneurial efforts on adolescent girls in Johannesburg, South Africa. Huff is a senior business administration major with a minor in anthropology.
Sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, the Fulbright program is the largest international exchange program in the United States. The program operates in over 140 countries worldwide and awards grants in the sciences, professional fields, and the creative and performing arts.
