Amanda Mustafic

As a member of the American University Student Union Board, Amanda Mustafic ('09) helps select the bands that will play at AU, negotiates terms with their agents, and coordinates their live sound needs. Bands and performers she has worked with in this capacity include Jimmy Eat World, Paramore, the Bravery, and Ghostface Killah. Mustafic is also pursuing an additional major in Arabic studies through AU's School of International Service.

Andrew Allene

As a junior, Andrew Allen ('08) interned at Echo Recording Studios in Atlanta. Among the clients who recorded there while Allen was an intern were Snoop Dogg, Wyclef, and TI, the studio's owner. His internship was so successful he was offered a full-time position upon his graduation. Read more from Catalyst magazine.

Samy Kosbrosly

Samy Kosbrosly ('08) interned at Hot 99.5 in the summer of 2006. His audio knowledge made such an impression on the general manager that he was hired as the producer for the Kane in the Morning radio show. As an on-air personality, Kosbrosly has broadcast from a beach in Bermuda, skydived with the U.S. Army Rangers parachuting team, and has met everyone from George W. Bush to the cast of MADtv. His listening audience is over two million people.

Andros Rodriguez

Andros Rodriguez
(BS '01) is an audio engineer at Quad Studios in New York, where he has recorded and mixed albums with Justin Timberlake, Ludacris, !!!, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Jewel, and Whitney Houson.

Stephanie Milne

Stephanie Milne
(BS '04) is a post-production engineer at MVI Post in Falls Church, VA. She has done sound mixing and foley work for shows on Discovery Channel, National Geographic Channel, and the History Channel, including the entire second season of Dog Whisperer.

Spinto Band

Nick Krill (BS '05) is the lead singer of the Spinto Band, currently finishing its second album. The debut album, Nice and Nicely Done, resulted in airplay on MTV Europe and three world tours, including opening for Arctic Monkeys. Nick also teaches audio tech at AU

Max Lauer-Bader

Max Lauer-Bader (BS '06) works as a product support representative for Korg, where he does beta-testing and suggest improvements to product lines including Korg, Vox, and Marshall.

Jim Rankowitz (BS '05) first worked as an intern for the WWE and now works for the YES Network, mixing audio for every Yankees home game.

Jeff McAleer (BS '06) is currently the head of the audiovisual department for the U.S Coast Guard in the Department of Homeland Security.
