Students gain core competencies in statistics and research methods, and acquire hands on experience with a compulsory internship and research capstone.
Students take courses in environmental science and risk assessment, and select three additional courses in ecology, toxicology, or conservation biology. The concentration provides students with advanced understanding of the environmental impact of human activities and increases their knowledge base for developing solutions to environmental problems.
