Curriculum Vitae

I am an undergraduate psychology student here at American University, and I began working in Professor Riley's lab in the Spring of 2015. I am currently working with Alison Wakeford as she works to complete her dissertation. We are collecting data to study the rewarding and aversive effects of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol(THC) in combination with other phytocannabinoids. I also worked with Heather King, a recent Ph.D. graduate, on her research concerning synthetic cathinones (bath salts).

I plan to continue my research concerning the cannabinoids and would be interested in doing an adolescent preexposure study in the future. The relationships between different drugs, like the opioids and cannabinoids, are of particular interest to me. I believe that these interactions, between different drugs and different ages of use, better represent human use and are vitally important to study.
