Accelerated Bachelor's Degree and Master's in Education
Program
Students receive a B.A. or a B.S. in a bachelor's
degree program and the Master
of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) or the M.A. in Special
Education: Learning Disabilities.
Getting your Master of Arts in Teaching
is Easier Than you Think!
- you can finish in 12 months (1 summer, 1 fall, 1 spring,
1 summer)
- you will be ready to apply for a teaching license and start
teaching when you graduate
- up to six credit hours from 500 level courses can satisfy
both bachelor's and master's requirements.

Applicants must have a grade point average
of 3.00 (on a 4.00 scale) or higher in major and minor courses |

Applicants should apply to
the MAT or MA Special Education in junior or senior year
- (GRE may be waived, please check with the School) |

Applicants must earn passing scores (as set by the DC
teacher licensing agency) on both the Praxis I exam:
