This is still first and primary support for students. Grad students meet with a trained graduate student writing consultant for individualized, one-to-one help. You may schedule up to 2 sessions per week by calling 202-885-2991. We recommend that you set up a series of appointments with one consultant to work on longer projects.
Graduate Student Programs and Presentations
Each semester, we offer small group workshops aimed especially at graduate students’ particular writing needs—e.g., Writing the Literature Review, Proposal Writing, Creating an Abstract—through the Graduate Studies Enhancement Program. We also offer programs in partnership with Bender Library and other campus resources to support the specific writing challenges of grad level research. Watch for announcements in Today@AU email.
