una Estética del Deterioro
By: Consuelo Hernandez
In this work the author explores the totality of the poetic and narrative works of Alvaro Mutis, to demonstrate his genesis in deteriorated spaces, represented by social decadence, the precariousness and incapacity of language and the imposibility to transcend time. From an analysis of the rhetorical and expressive resources used, she presents how images form a sickly reality with highly refined and poetic language, demonstrating that from a fragile and decadent world, Mutis creates a work of extraordinary perfections.
