Training for Faculty

Technology in the Classroom Series 

Each semester, we will continue our Technology in the Classroom Series to include all new content and tools. Each workshop features a key pedagogical strategy along with an online tool that supports activity in the classroom. Please join us as we explore how to increase student engagement, improve student outcomes, and build the 21st century curriculum.

Personalized Training

One-On-One Software Tutorials for Faculty

Please contact Anna Olsson ( or 202-885-6077) if you would like to request a one-on-one tutorial. Depending on what software you are interested in learning, we will either schedule a tutorial with one of our trainers or refer you to another campus training location.

One-on-One Research Consultations

Faculty are invited to contact the Research Support Group to request a personalized consultation based on professional development or related to specific research project needs. Email Assen Assenov or call x3862.

Drop-in Tutorials for students in the CTRL Lab, Hurst 202.

The following list reflects software programs supported by RSG staff. Follow the link for a PDF file indicating when specialists for particular software will be available to students for one-on-one drop-in tutorials. Registration is not required. These opportunities are offered weekly until final exams but not on AU holidays.
