The Center for Teaching, Research, and Learning, in collaboration with the Career Center, is launching a pilot program for juniors and seniors, designed to help students in their transition from an undergraduate liberal arts education to careers or future study. The program this year consists of a series of workshops and one-credit classes.

Craft your online presence with an ePortfolio and learn web production through WordPress basics.

Introduction to Stata Statistics
Learn to enter and organize data, perform descriptive and inferential analysis, and display data in tables and graphs using Stata. Basic background in statistics required.
Saturday, October 17, 10:00 am-2:00 pm Register for this workshop
Using Nvivo for Qualitative Research
Learn to import, classify, and code material into nodes, and run queries to analyze and visualize data using NVivo. Basic background in research methods required.
Saturday, October 24, 11:00 am-3:00 pm Register for this workshop
Create Meaningful Multimedia
Use digital tools to create visual content like GIFs, infographics, and more to enhance blogging, social networking, and SEO results.

In the Spring semester, we will have additional workshops, along with a one credit course, Statistics Fundamentals STAT 396-001. Registration for STAT 396-001 is available through regular Spring course registration. Stay tuned for an additional Spring one credit course that we anticipate offering.
