CTRL Lab offers a variety of workshops each semester to train members of the AU community in the software that it supports. Examples of workshops we have offered in the past can be seen below, and you can follow the link to view our current schedule. If you are interested receiving training that is not listed in our regular workshop schedule, please contact us by email to request an appointment.
Introduction to NVivo: Designed for first time and very-new users, this workshop teaches how to bring data into NVivo, how to code data, and basic analyses.
Intermediate NVivo: This workshop will explore more advanced features of Nvivo and explain how to conduct inter-rater reliability, format word documents to auto code in Nvivo, and explore your code with queries.
Advanced NVivo – Visualizing Models: This workshop will explore more advanced features of Nvivo and explain how these features help you: build models to capture initial ideas or interact with the data; create graphs; and use other visualization tools such as word trees, word clouds, cluster analysis, and charts.
CTRL is committed to providing services to all faculty and staff regardless of disability and we will coordinate ways to bring services to an accessible location upon request sent by email or by phone (x3862).
