Claudia Martin, codirector of the Academy on Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, lectures on international law and international human rights law. Martin is the coauthor of "The International Dimension of Human Rights, A Guide for Application in Domestic Law" (Inter-American Development Bank and American University, 2001); "La Dimension Internacional de los Derechos Humanos, Guia para la aplicacion de normas internacionales en el derecho interno," (Inter-American Development Bank and American University, 1999); and "The International Human Rights Status of Elderly Persons" (18 American University International Law Review, 2003). In addition, she is the codirector of the Inter-American Human Rights Digest Project, a publication compiling the complete case law of the Inter-American human rights system.
