Post Production and Sound Design

This course explores the theory and practice of post-production sound for film and video as well as other media. Students learn how to create unique and creative soundscapes through various aesthetic techniques including Foley, ADR, and signal processing. Students also learn how to communicate effectively with studio, field, and post audio personnel.

Hip Hop Production and Mixing

This course builds on the mixing techniques covered in the advanced recording seminar. Students explore the aesthetics of recording, producing, and mixing Hip Hop albums. Students also analyze the difference between mixing Hip Hop music versus other music genres.
