Advanced Inorganic Chemistry (3)

Course Level: Undergraduate/Graduate

This course covers topics historically taught in inorganic chemistry, including bonding theory, molecular symmetry, spectroscopy, acid-based chemistry, coordination chemistry, and eletrochemistry. It also covers modern applications of transition-metal catalyzed reactions, metals in biology, and solid-state chemistry. Usually offered every fall. Prerequisite: CHEM-320. Co-requisite: CHEM-582.
