Collaboration and Team Communication

Changes in communication technologies and the work place have made team building and collaboration an imperative today. This course introduces students to the concepts and skills of forming, monitoring and managing effective teams, including team motivation, productivity, collaboration, and conflict management. Students have the opportunity to practice their team building and collaborative skills with in-class exercises and online projects.

Strategic Communication & Events Planning: Theory & Practice

The course allows students to understand the value of experiential education. Students actively participate and become familiar with all aspects of a major national conference, while reflecting on its importance and its value in the field of strategic public relations. Students also understand the impact of team work and its role in achieving goals. Prerequisite: permission of instructor.
