Proseminar in Justice (3)
Course Level: Graduate
Topics vary by section, may be repeated for credit with different topic. Analysis and critique of major theoretical approaches to the study of justice and the law. The interactions among the justice system, law, and society are investigated, including the conceptual underpinnings of the discipline, as well as an in-depth treatment of the field's empirical research. Usually offered every spring. Prerequisite: admission to Ph.D. program or permission of the instructor.
