Sustainability Metrics and Reporting (3) As human cultures continue to advance sustainability management in their businesses, households, communities, governments, and non-profit organizations, identifying, developing, analyzing, and utilizing key quantitative and qualitative indicators and other data is becoming a necessary tool in that advancement. In addition, how those metrics are communicated to relevant decision makers, including through sustainability reporting mechanisms, is a related set of skills that can help promote both environmental and socio-economic sustainability within and between the multiple levels of societies. Through life cycle analysis, greenhouse gas accounting, natural and social capital valuation, and resource and resilience measurement, as well as other techniques, this course familiarizes students with skills and details on how sustainability is assessed and how those assessments can be used to improve sustainability management outcomes. Meets with MGMT-696 001.
