The Washington Post
The Washington Times is a conservative paper owned by the Unification Church (Rev. Moon of Korea) but the Church does not exercise direct editorial control.
Washington CityPaper  Worth reading for Loose Lips alone.  The best source for inside gossip on District politics.  You can pick it up free in many locations around the city and suburbs.

General Assembly  Maryland's Legislature is located at State Circle in Annapolis.  The call for the Constitutional Convention was issued by Annapolis Convention in this building.

Gazette Newspapers publishes a chain of free local weeklies that covers politics in Montgomery County.
Takoma Voice provides news about Takoma Park.
Diamondback is the student newspaper of the University of Maryland.
The Journal Newspapers publishes a chain of papers throughout the Washington suburbs during the week.
