| The ruins of the Roman city of Gerasa are located just 50 kms north of Amman. My tourguide made a point of explaining that he very much liked Americans but really did not like the current American government or the War in Iraq. Feelings were especially acute at the time because several Jordanian truck drivers were murdered in Iraq only days before my visit. | ||
